Upcoming events
May 10, 2008 – For the sixth year
in a row, we’ll be climbing at Shiawassee Park in Farmington, MI. This will be
an introductory climb, so all of the ropes will already be in the trees for
you. This climb is open to people of all abilities. We’ll have
our specialized rope systems that make it possible for anyone to climb. Register for this
program through the Farmington Hills Special Services Department. Here is a map to Farmington’s Shiawassee Park.
(Click on the "Register" link above to download
the Farmington Hills Summer 2008 Program Schedule. The course description is on
page 15: "Tree Climbing with Ropes.” There is a registration form on page
36 of the program schedule that you can print out. You can drop it off at the Costick
Center or you can mail or fax it to the Department of Special Services. Sign up
for either a morning or an afternoon course.)
Summer 2008 – We will be climbing with kids and adults with disabilities
at several different camps in Michigan and Ohio.
